About Our Speakers
Bill Christman is owner of Urban Coyote Solutions in Bettendorf, Iowa. Bill has 23 years of wildlife control experience. Prior to his present business, Bill operated Christman’s Wildlife Services in the Moline/Quad Cities area of Illinois. His resume includes multiple urban coyote projects over the past several years, as well as training the likes of Craig O’Gorman, Mike McMurray and Coyote U’s Mark Zagger. Bill is a NWCOA CWCP, holds wildlife control licenses in Iowa and Illinois, and is a regular contributing writer for WCT magazine for Urban Coyote Management.
Keith Markun is the owner/operator of Bigfoot Wildlife Solutions and Wild Beast Products in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is a bird control and working-at-heights specialist for Plunketts/Varment Guard. Keith previously held positions as Vice President and Central Director of NWCOA and is the recipient of multiple Innovator, Educator & Volunteer awards. He has presented at Purdue University, Journal, the Athens Times, PMP magazine, and interviewed for several television and radio stations. Keith is also the patent holder for the Intimidator visual bird deterrent.
Sara O’Banion is a consulting professional for over 15 years with a passion for accounting and technology. With a degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems, Sara has served many large clients in a variety of industries. While Sara has a background in all areas of accounting, her passion is rooted in fraud detection, designing improved processes and controls, and system implementations. Sara thrives on consulting clients who are leaders and innovators in their industries. Co-Owner/Operator Advanced Wildlife Management
Chris O’Banion is the Co-owner/operator of Advanced Wildlife Management. He and his wife Sara began their company in 2009 in their dining room. They have since added on an amazing crew of workers. In 2021 they merged with Varment Guard. He is also the Central Director of NWCOA.
Ron Peters is the owner/operator of Wildlife Patrol,LLC located in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Ron has been in the wildlife control business for over 20 years. Ron is a member of several industry organizations and serves as Vice-President of Wisconsin Wildlife Control Operators Association, and Chairman of the Board for Fur Takers of America. Ron holds many industry certifications and is an advocate for continuing education and applying new techniques to wildlife control.
